HOW TO TRANSFORM YOUR IDEAS INTO ACTIONS

EXPERTS ESTIMATE THAT THE MIND THINKS BETWEEN 60,000 – 80,000 THOUGHTS A DAY.
THAT'S AN AVERAGE OF 2,500 – 3,300 THOUGHTS PER HOUR. THAT'S INCREDIBLE!

BUT TO ADD REAL VALUE TO ANY IDEA – SOMETHING IS REQUIRE AND THIS IS ACTION  AND THE QUESTION IS HOW DO WE DIFFERENTIATE WHICH IDEA IS WORTHY OF SUCH ACTION?

Most of you may have an idea (or a few) that you would love to develop. Remember that there is a big difference between a good idea and the right idea or a practical idea. You MUST balance your idea with practical reality!!

TO TRANSFORM YOUR IDEAS INTO ACTIONS -  I HAVE IDENTIFIED 6 STEPS THAT YOU SHOULD IMPLEMENT TO MATERIALISE YOUR IDEAS.

Steps:
1 Get Aligned. Visualise your plan whether you are an individual or a part of an organization, there are goals and objectives in front of you. What is the most important thing that you are trying to accomplish? Having a good idea isn’t enough. The idea must also be relevant and practical in reflecting your goals. Ideas MUST be put INTO action or they WILL NEVER Materialise

2 Get Clarity!  THINK ABOUT YOUR IDEA AND TRY TO EXPLAIN THE IDEA IN SIMPLE LANGUAGE TO OTHERS. Identify their selling points and make them look appealing and profitable.   However, before taking any action, make sure you truly understand what they meant, This step is especially important for ideas that requires implementation by a group of people and not an individual, as not everyone will have the same clear picture of the idea until it is clarified. (This is also particularly important if you are planning to pitch for funding or sponsors)

3 Get Organised. PUT YOUR IDEAS IN WRITING - If your idea has passed the first two tests, then it is time to plan. Figure out the implementation steps. Planning is crucial.  Think about the timeline. Put the idea into the larger scope. Time spent in planning and organizing will always pay dividends.

4 Get Help. OUTSOURCE KNOWLEDGE - You may not be able to turn your idea into reality by yourself. Your planning should help you see where you might need others experience, insights or another pair of hands. This is also applicable for team work! Think about what resources you will need and work on lining them up as early on. As possible. When you do these things your idea will become more of a reality than just an ‘idea’. Don’t just start a project involving everyone or anyone purely for the sake of it, If your idea is successful rest assured there will be lots of people who will be interested I taking advantage of you/your idea/ .

5 Get Focused. Don’t procrastinate - Once you have decided which idea(s) to implement and have a plan, you have to make the time to make it happen! Getting focused means creating the space and time to turn the idea into reality. It has to move from the idea stage into action. Focus your energy on making that happen.

6 Time Frame – revisionGet a mentor/ supervisor / coach or advisor who is an expert in the field and discuss/ debate your idea /project.  In your plan of action you should have a time line or a time specific goal. So plan and achieve accordingly.

NOTHING ELSE SPEAKS MORE LOUDLY THAT THAT…
