ROYAL CELEBRATION: QUEEN ELIZABETH II - PLATINUM JUBILEE CEREMONY & AWARDS

On the 4th of June 2022 the Parliamentary Society for Arts, Fashion & Sports celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee and Awards with a lavished celebration with international performances followed by an awards ceremony and honours for various figures in the Arts, Education, Charity, Law, and Innovation.  The celebration was concurred by 220 guests including members of UK & European Royal Family, Members of Parliament, Scientists, CEOs, MBEs, OBEs and artists around the world.


Preceded by the Parliamentary Society Chairwoman Rebeca Riofrio the award ceremony took place at the iconic Royal Horseguard place steeped in military history, not only was it used as a headquarters by MI5 and MI6, but it also housed secret tunnels used by Winston Churchill and, in WWII, was home to the American Embassy and the Air Training Corps.

QUEEN’S JUBILEE ART COMPETITION 




During the months of April & May 2022 we created an art competition encouraging children and adults to present their artwork taking as an inspiration Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II.

Over 120 applicants submitted their work and on the day of the celebration we narrowed the competition to 10 finalists, a body of jury’s examine and decided their winners as follows.



Children’ category: 

First Prize Sophia Bencheikh, Second Place Paige Jervis, and Third Place Edvinas Binderis.
First Prize Vanja Kara, Second Prize Dr Nadey Hakim, Third Prize to Carlos Gualo


Adults’ category:


First Prize Vanja Kara, Second Prize Dr Nadey Hakim, Third Prize to Carlos Gualo.



The rest of the 10 finalists all winners of certificates of medals Michele Ansermet Papadopoulos, Anne Marie Harrison, Conchetta Bucheri, Volodymyr Zayichenko and Natalia Jezova.
