The official Residence of the French President is visited by the extraordinary POP ART EXPO 2018

Bormes les Mimosas is the town were the official residence of the  French president is located.

The fort of Bréganço, is an outstanding site situated at the tip of the hamlet of Cabasson. Since 1968 was named one the official residences for all the French presidents, at the request of General de Gaulle.

Every president of the 5th republic spent some holidays at the fort: - The Général De Gaulle, Georges Pompidou, Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, François Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande. The French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron came during the spring of 2018 to discover and enjoy this magnificent site and its surroundings.

This year while you visit the South of France explore the beautiful town of Bormes les Mimosas. From the 21st of July to the 3rd October at the national museum of the municipality they will be displaying an exciting new art exhibition called the POP ART POP MUSIC.

POP ART & POP MUSIC EXPO at BORMES LES MIMOSAS

This exhibition has been cultivated by art collector Jordi Casals - with an amazing compilation of one of the kind objects and rare collectors items; connecting few of the most iconic artist of the POP era like Michael Jackson, Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali. 

Jordi Casals has been an expert and collector for over 30 years specialising on Salvador Dali items and is available and approachable to meet at the museum during the given dates.
