Joshua Kane’s fashion presentation
was like opening a window into a movie set – Gothic, subliminal and
mysteriously sexy. For a moment, I was spectating a much better version of Neil
Jordan film “Interview with the Vampire”. The display called “JK Ceremony” took
place at the fabulous Mandrake Hotel in Fitzrovia on Wednesday 19th of
September.

The Venue was The Mandrake hotel a golden nest for fashionistas and artists that counts with a
long list of A-listers as regulars; among people that have hosted parties at
the Mandrake Hotel are Vogue editor Edward Enninful, models Kate Moss and Jourdan
Dunn. Johnny Depp and David Beckham were spotted there when tattoo artist Mark
Mahoney was in residence, is an ‘absolutely
definitely’ trendy place to visit.
Joshua Kane’s team transformed the
Mandrake hotels carved “atrium” into an opulent space with high candelabras,
bronze statues, pillar of roses, exquisite silver wear and a dress up high
dinner table that welcomed all the models into a “ceremonial dinner”.
