Malan Breton celebrates 15th years of successful career during London Fashion Week
Breton celebrates his 15th anniversary this year and pays homage to one of the founders of Studio 54, Ian Shrager, who sponsored Breton’s first fashion show. Studio 54, of course needs no introduction. A notorious symbol of the 70s decade; it summoned an exuberant crowd from artists, poets, politicians and pop stars and therefore is the perfect analogy for Malan Breton’s new collection.
The collection has been enriched with hundreds and thousands of Swarovski crystals that catch under glistening lights and shimmer amongst the muted tones they are bounded onto.
Malan Breton will be reviving his signature pieces this season using Taiwanese hakka dyes, Japanese denims and cottons and an array of sumptuous silk organzas, chiffons and brocades with a twist of pop art bursts. Opulent opals, rubies and sapphires will return to the dance floor and allure that is Malan Breton.
Live music from MARi and Emergency Tiara. The show will be staged as a movie within a movie seamlessly merging with showing the SS20 collection, this multi aspect fashion show demonstrates how Breton’s innovative desire is ever evolving.
