Charles Chaplin, granddaughter Kiera Chaplin and the Chairwoman for the UK Parliamentary Society of Arts, Rebeca Riofrio on an official visit in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Multifaceted artist Kiera Chaplin and the Chairwoman for the Parliamentary Society, Rebeca Riofrio gave a powerful speech during the opening of the International Conference “Global Women in Leadership “ Bahrain by Stella Polare Events. 

SPEECHES AT THE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN CONFERENCE IN BAHRAIN 

 

 

The conference took place from the 26th till the 30th of August in Manama. Over 21 speakers from all over the world participated on the conference discussing various topics like: “Women Roles and Innovation, Women in Media, Cyber Security, Environment, Pollutions & Solution, Exclusion and Equal Opportunities, Journalism in War Zones, Mental Health, Theatre and Fashion Diversity, Domestic Violence, and many lives personal experiences.”

Part of the conference was also visits to various cultural centres, museums, theatres, meeting young local artists, cultural directors and a trip to Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture – Ithra, where the exhibition on maritime awareness and pollution was prominent and the importance of Islamic roots were highlighted.

Kiera Chaplin, current ambassador for the Arts in the UK for the Parliamentary Society also discussed the possibilities in bringing international cultural events to the Kingdom of Bahrain in the nearer future.

Rebeca Riofrio will come back to Bahrain in October this year together with a delegation of artists and models to conduct a Fashion Show lead by international designer Malan Breton under the patronage of Stella Polare Events, Amina Leelo.
